STOP OVERS
Cathay Pacific stops on the way to Sydney in Hongkong. Local arrival time in HKG is 08:00 hrs the following morning. Departure time is 23:00 hrs. Groups will be picked up by our English speaking guide (Mr. Charlie Chan) and accommodation is at either Star Guest House or Lee Garden Guesthouse in the Kowloon district. No breakfast because there is no overnight stay in HKG just dayroom. Kowloon is the famous district for shopping and also awesome harbour views! Perfect and safe area for backpackers, no BIG 5 star hotels but many local shops and restaurant. Guided transfer back to Airport. The guesthouse is very simple, small room with ensuite but don't expect any luxury. It's clean centrally located and a safe spot. Perfect for 3-4 hours sleep before you hit town.
On the way back you can stay longer in Hong Kong if you please. No visa required. For mainland China visa is required but Charlie Chan can help you out. He can also arrange various tours through Hong Kong and in / to mainland China.
For stop-overs (varies between 100-115 Euro) you can also stop in Bali, Jakarta, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (plus HKG). For extra 100-160 Euro you can also add return flights from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne to Christchurch, Auckland or Wellington in New Zealand, PLUS Asia PLUS Hong Kong!!! All dates are changeable free of charge and route changes first time f.o.c.! After this Euro 90 per time. Cathay Pacific / QF flies from/to all major cities in Australia.
China Airlines stops on the way to Sydney in Bangkok (1 hrs fuel stop) and Taipei. Once group arrives at CI transfer desk in the Taipei terminal (before customs) they will be guided to Airport Hotel. They stay from 12:30 hrs till 22:00 hrs in the 3-4 star Airport Hotel. At 18:00 hrs free dinner buffet is provided by Hotel. Around 20:00 hrs transfer back to the departure terminal for your connecting flight to Sydney. On the way back you can stop-over in Taipei again as well as Hong Kong and Thailand!! This is f.o.c. But you can also choose to make just 1 stop-over in for example Bangkok (Thailand). Date changes f.o.c. and no route changes possible. China flies from/to Sydney and Brisbane only.
Austrian Airlines fly via Vienna with a fuel stop in Asia. One free stop-over in Asia is available on your way to Sydney or on your return journey. Austrian returns from Sydney or Melbourne. Each seat has your own personal video/tv player.
